I created an animation of Simeli Mountain, a Grimm's Fairytale. This was a new and exciting project for me since I had never animated characters before. A challenge I was faced with was finding a balance between information told and the duration of the animation. This challenge forced me to evaluate all parts of the original story and choose the most important sections while making sure important details were not missing. I had a lot of fun making this piece and enjoyed seeing how all my assets interacted with one another in AfterEffects. By doing this new style of animating, I learned I really enjoy telling a story and it is very rewarding to see a story in one form (written) and then transformed into a different form (animated).
